PostalloyR TuffbandR NC is a high hardness hardband that may be used by itself for casing
friendly hardband applications or used as a weld matrix with Tungsten Carbide (WC) when casing protection
is not a factor.

and is 100% rebuildable. It is *Fearnley Procter NS-1TM certified for new applications to tool joints and it is

Liquid concentrated zinc phosphate for immersion, spray, or flow-coat processing of iron, steel and zinc.

Solucoat 5027J is a liquid concentrated zinc phosphate for immersion, spray, or flow-coat processing of iron, steel and zinc. The product will impart a tight, crystalline coating. The coating produced can be used as a base for paint or supplementary oil finish. This product is also suitable for use in 5 stage spray equipment.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Color: Green
Form: Liquid
pH: Strongly acidic

OPERATING DATA:
Equipment: Tanks and any heating equipment should made of 316 or similar alloy stainless steel.
Concentration: Use at 3% to 5% solution by volume in water.
Temperature: 1650F to 1850F (790C to 850C).
Usage:
Prior to treatment, all components must be free from all grease. oil, smut, rust and loose scale. Pre-cleaning should be such that not water break can be observed when the components are held under cold running water. Parts should be immersed in the SOLUCOATJ for 1 to 3 minutes, followed by cold water rinse, and for maximum protection, immersed for 1 minute in a sealer, such as 1/2 pound chromic acid per 100 gallons of water of 180 F (82 C). and dried thoroughly before painting. If an oil treatment is required, use one of the SOLOIL series of products.

FOR GALLING AND RUST PREVENTION: Use at 24-27 total acid points for 10 to 30 minutes immersion. Use 40. 50 points for high alloy steels such as 4140.
